Never Stop Dreaming - Documentary Premiere

“NEVER STOP DREAMING” - Documentary Premiere, Exhibition & Workshop
A documentary about ancestral painters, in this chapter: Tigua region Cotopaxi-Ecuador

Directed by @Disaikner

This project started as a residency art program at @pujinostro in the Andean Mountains. An adventure to find and talk to local artisans about their labour.

For Damian, Tigua painters are a clear example of art that can break through anything while making your spirit pump. Drawing from this energy, as well as the words of the first Tigua painter, Julio Toaquiza, journey and the video documenting it were baptised as “Never Stop Dreaming”.

On Thursday 30th April, Damian will present this documentary / investigation about what these cultural masks represent for him, as well as how cultures are being shaped by such important objects that carry identity.
