Kieron Boona Anderson is a direct descendant of the Ngugi people of Moreton Island and Kullilli People of Thargomindah.

Kieron is deeply connected to the continuation and sharing of knowledge from his grandparents homelands and the sacred systems that have been entrusted to him across both nations. He brought together his professions as a trained chef and an emerging contemporary artist to share old + new stories, emphasising cultural resilience and food sovereignty. Over his residency, Kieron explored his deep relationship with Country, centered on the theme of Food as Medicine. His first solo exhibition , sharing the outcomes of his work will be hosted at Aboriginal Art Co Gallery in August 2026.

Bianca Tainsh

Bianca Tainsh has been exploring perceptions of interconnectedness through an enquiry spanning 4 years of art + science collaborations and artistic experimentation. This enquiry materialised the ‘terra-biome’ - living sculptures sustaining millions of organisms, their electrical communications revealed through embedded electronics. Terra-biomes implicate humans as convergent, visceral bodies.

During her OCCUPY residency, Bianca pushed these perceptions of interconnectedness into new material territory. She drew from an archive of found artefacts shaped by entropy, organism, and element, testing how organic forms translate across materials. She access makers through the living Library (a part of every Occupy Residency) to build an archive that saught the wild asymmetries of decay, sexual manifestation, and symbiosis. Her exhibition outcome, held at VA, showcased both ongoing work as well as her new experimental work.
